Green House is nestled in the hillslope of Old Historic Downtown
San Buenaventura "Ventura", just off Coastal Routes 101 & 33. This
"house away from home" offers all the amenities & comforts needed to
maintain today's pace or relax safely removed from most everything. Some
people say it's an enchanted place where warm feelings of peace and calm
fill every guest. Others call it an adult size doll house recalling an
innocent free spirit of yesteryears. It impresses you with a refreshing
breathe of wholesome simplicity.

Along with a magnificent panoramic view from virtually every location on
its' premises (indoors and out) which constantly capture you to stop &
watch the Ocean, Rails, Streets or Weather, the Gardens & Terraces
will lure you out-of-doors also. Allow extra time to leave, because these
romantic distractions will slow your pace in the most thoughtful ways.
To maintain the serenity & peace of mind conditioned into this property,
external accesses are secured. It is a place intended to hold you sheltered
in its charms.

Neatly tucked into the quietest downside neighborhood in Ventura, The
Little Pink and Green House is a block from the historic Mission San
Buenaventura, downtown shops, theaters, museums, restaurants, street fairs,
art walks, Saturday Morning & Thursday Evening Open Farmers Market.
It is a short walk to the beach, Surfers Point, and the Ventura Pier. This
house which was originally built in the early 1920s has been renovated
to enhance it's unique design and location.
An Old Fashion + Modern Place that is Environmentally
Friendly
This one bedroom wood floored environmentally conscientious non-toxic unit
is newly & fully furnished primarily in attractive room saving Euro-Scandinavian
wood accented design to make your everyday life a little easier and a little
more natural. Quality furnishings, whenever possible, are from manufactures
that use materials which keep their production as pure as possible. The
simplicity of this house creates a sanctuary combining cleanliness into
natures setting. This is a non-smoking house and we encourage environmental
consideration from the guests also. Pets are not permitted.A Good Place to Be
The Living room has a convenient and comfortable full size sofa bed and a contemporary
pine desk with a view to make thoughts stir or just sit back, relax listen
to music or watch TV. The entertainment center is complete with a high
quality CD, DVD, AM/FM Receiver, Cable TV with two premium movie channels and the
high-end tier and Cable Special Event Availability. The house is equipped
with two telephones (one line with call waiting); one remote with a personalize
answering machine and the other is a clock radio/alarm comb.
Quiet Contrasts
The bedroom is one of the most secluded spots in the world, or so it seems,
considering it is hovering above an active Southern California Coastal
Town. You'll understand what that means when you snuggle into bed with
a good book amidst the twinkle of the town lights in the backdrop. One
doesn't often close the views out as it is part of life at The Little
Pink and Green House.
Gourmet Welcomed
You will want to eat in. The clean equipped kitchen has been modernized
with spacious white washed cabinets, a gas stove, microwave oven, refrigerator,
and a double sectioned porcelain sink and garbage disposal unit that sits
below a box window that looks out towards a private garden. This garden
is cultivated with grass bordered with seasonal colorful floral, herbs,
and vegetables. Trim or pick something fresh to season your cooking with
and plant something that will be good to eat while you are a guest. Everything
grows very well here at The Little Pink
and Green House.
Privacy
The tiled bathroom has been completely restored with new fixtures, a pedestal
sink and a bath/shower combo and although this room offers complete privacy,
it also has a view.
Laundry & Linens
Think Convenience
& Your Stay is right for the Little Pink and Green Guest House. When
last have you been away at a place that provided your own personal and
private laundry right in your unit? It's everything you need to feel safe,
comfortable, and clean. Fresh Towels, bedding, pillow cases, dish towels, etc. are provided
weekly. We request linens only be washed as needed. Oftentimes people use
towels more than once at home. While a guest at The Little
